They say that writing about music is a lot like dancing about
architecture <http://www.dancingaboutarc.com/misc/abouthome.html>.
They also say a picture is worth a thousand words. Harnessing the
almighty power of those little gems, Jerry Prochnicky and Ralph Hulett
will release
Led Zeppelin:
Good Times, Bad Times, A Visual Biography of the Ultimate Band.
The hardcover book, to be released on Abrams
<http://www.abramsbooks.com/> this October, is a collection of well
known and unreleased images of Led Zeppelin starting with the band's
first show on Sept. 7, 1968 to their London 2007 show. Furthering the
book's all-inclusive aesthetic, it drops just in time for the 40-year
anniversary of Zep's thunderous first two albums.
The book comes complete with a forward by Anthony DeCurtis,
contributing editor to Rolling Stone <http://www.rollingstone.com/>.
