At least he didn't claim to be Jason and get him into trouble...
"Clearwater police arrested a man Monday night they say claimed he was
a rock star, then partied like one before stealing a car and wrecking
it.
Eric Steven Hook was in the Pinellas County Jail on Tuesday on $6,300 bail.
He faces six counts: grand theft auto, theft of services, DUI, leaving
the scene of an accident, not having a valid driver's license and
providing a false name.
Hook, who identified himself as Cory James, claimed to be the drummer
for Foreigner, a rock band popular in the 1970s and '80s, police said.
Using the rock persona along with the name and room number of a patron
at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort, Hook obtained "food, alcoholic
beverages and cash throughout the day."
