Re: Re: TCV at work

That's my kind of meatloaf!  Slap it on the grill (maybe minus the bacon) and
you have the best ever!  From Sunset magazine:

Grill the meat loaves over indirect medium-low heat, with the lid closed, until
a thermometer inserted horizontally through the top of each loaf registers
155°F, 50 to 60 minutes. Remove the loaves from the grill and let rest 10 to 15
minutes (during this time, the loaves will continue to cook, allowing them to
reach the recommended 160°F for ground beef and pork).

They recommend serving it with Pale Ale.  Paradise by the barbecue light...

I like Meatloaf. I prefer to use a blend of 60% ground beef, 25% ground
pork, and 15% ground veal. Sautéed onions and celery seasoned with salt,
pepper, fresh thyme and a bit of garlic. Also I add some tomato product,
typically tomato paste. All is blended together and loaves are formed which
I then wrap with Apple Wood smoked bacon.

Delicious!
