RE: Rachel Barton, violinist from Chicago

I don't recall hearing anything about her playing with Zep on the local
news, though that does not mean it didn't happen. I do remember her; she
played the Star Spangled Banner at a Bull's game I went to and she was all
over the area shortly after the accident.

Best of luck to her.

Subject: Rachel Barton, violinist from Chicago

Chicago-area FBOers might know who Ms. Barton is- was a 'prodigy' who was on
the local news quite a bit some years back, she had an accident trying to
board a train, in the process of trying to save her violin which was stuck
in the train door, she lost a leg, poor gal- all manner of lawsuits and
debate over the 'safety' of local commuter trains and so forth- anyway, I
seem to remember that when I saw the No Quarter tour the first time, Ms.
Barton was shown on the vid screen at the show, playing as part of the local
string ensemble....so, did she play with them or not?
Was reminded of that cuz she was on the noon news today, playing first
alone (she SMOKES), then with her metal band later on...YES, she's also a
rocker...wonder what HER CD collection looks like...
Also made me realize how long its been since all that was
happening....don't remember Einstein ever saying that time moves FASTER the
older one gets...
