Re: Ramble On

Hey Nech,

Good question - my answer to you would be - freedom of choice. Any time I
heard "Tall Cool One" come on the radio I would switch the channel!

But seriously, my preferences for listening to LZ would pretty much be - 1.
The original recorded versions 2. Live versions 3. Versions reworked by Page
and Plant themselves 4. Live versions of the original recordings performed by
great musicians 5. Versions reworked by highly proficient musicians like
Rodrigo Y Gabriela etc. 6. Kids in school of rock programs attempting to
perform the works of the mighty Zep

I'm not overly enthused on jammed out interpretations of LZ, at least none I've
heard yet - besides LZ themselves were the masters of that, and they had the
style and feel to do it properly.

I also like JP's use of poetic license with his own music better than RP's use
of the LZ catalog.

    Just Sayin' ;-) Cheers! PH
