Chef and I are having a playful little argument on facebook about this...

I contend that the concert was not perfect, but was indeed magical. I
will happily concede that Kashmir *was* perfect.

Plant's vocals - which were pretty damn great most of the night - were
really magnified and intensified during this song. It's hard to
communicate to anyone while having to rely just on the available
recordings, but to me his voice just seemed to fill the arena - it was
like the 'voice of God' floating above all the instruments. JPJ's
keys had never sounded so good - they were the sonic equivalent of
trekking across the desert with the sun turning everything to brown.
Jason's drumming was the steady power of the Hammer of the Gods, and
Jimmy's guitar was the scythe, cutting a driving tempo through it all.
On top of that, everything was set against a spectacular backdrop on
the big screen - that mysterious circular design and those
magnificent, majestic columns. It provided what is probably my
favorite pro image from the night: http://tinyurl.com/Kashmirwingspan
...which I believe came from what is probably my favorite single
moment of the night, the delivery of the "...where I've
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen" line.

Incredible.

It has always been argued that perfection does not exist in nature. Two

time to put in the show.
