I noticed the dryness too, Nech. A technical copy, and very good, even
amazing in its ability to recreate the exact notes at the exact time. But
very lacking in emotion. Perfect in its metronomed measures, but missing
the ebb & flow of the heart of the song - holding a note a bit longer,
starting a split second late to the beat.
I enjoyed watching it and thought the music was beautiful, but it was almost
as if I was watching a different song.

You know this is great, but only great in that it shows off just what a
phenomenal songwriter JP was and what a friggin band this was. I mean this
dude's got midi and shit to help accomplish what our guys did LIVE , no re
takes, no protool no video wizardry to make incredible music. And even
though technically "accurate" there is a mechanical, dry and Grohl like (
yeah I said it!) feel to this guy's take on it. Where's the natural
flow...the sympatico ??? yeah tough to do as a one man band, but the guitar
par t alone just lack sthat pure magical flow & rythm that even in Jimmy's
worst live captured moments is there...
I can't do this at all anymore, so hats off to zosolo, but the real hats off
goes to the man who wrote the music...and I wish he was still writing more.
