Re: Priorities - another "For Bitching Only" post

I haven`t heard much live Jason, but there are many Page/Plant live shows around, especially since their `95 tour featured a legal taper's section. There are also some stunning videos of Page/Plant around.

I can't help anyone with new music, but someone contacted me (from
this list, presumably) and asked me to help with some P&P and Jason
Bonham shows he taped. These will be showing up eventually. Not
real-deal Zep, but something good nonetheless.

Same here. The worst thing they could do is go on the road and do a
"greatest hits" tour. I was quite happy when Jones said in October that
the plan would be to do an album then a tour.

I see, I'm insane for wanting to hear Page's new music instead o his
old. Is Nech also insane? I've seen him mention here on several
occasions that he wants to hear it. Are the others on here who've
expressed a desire to here new music from Led Zeppelin also insane? Is
Robert Plant also insane for his 2003 statements that he's waiting for
Jones and Page to present him with new music? Get with the program,
dude. You're stuck in the past.

Steve,

After reading your reply, I now understand that you are mentally insane.
: )

Some of us would like to talk about Led Zeppelin's real music from the
stone ages when muscle cars and Vegas and Pintos roamed the streets.
Like a lot of Zep fans, I like their live music a lot and there is
nothing wrong with that. In case you forgot, there is no NEW Led
Zeppelin music - everything is from the stone ages as you may see it.

Topics like Jon Hull's Chicago '75 recordings, the Nassau Coliseum '75
soundboards surfacing, or any new information that is relevant to
preserving the Zeppelin legacy and our knowledge of it, should have
parity with the "what if" speculative discussions of today. After
all, the name of "For Badgeholders Only" is rooted in the respect for
Live Zeppelin. And when we are dead and gone, all that will be left
is the music.

ChargerSRT - nominated for best post of the year "For Bitching Only"
by Steve A Jones. hehehe : )

p.s. - I did send Cathy a program from the RPAK show, per her request.
I would do the same for you.

You Plant apologists always use the same tactic. Anyone who criticizes
Saint Percy
in any way is immediately accused of not letting go, of being stuck in
the past and incapable of moving on, yet the same folks are fixated on
40 year-old shows or novelty cover albums of old songs instead of NEW
music. blah blah blah ...
