Hello Jon...Spirit of 88 is a fantastic release which I have been playing 
non stop since I got it.....

The band is in top form and Slash's playing is stellar..............

I had the privilege of seeing the original band 3X and also 3X after Izzy 
and Steven Adler were tossed out before they imploded in 93...There was no 
comparison as the later version could not hold a candle to the original.....

The new album is not bad compared to most of the new music being released 
but it is ridiculous for Axl to pass it off as GnR...

Imagine if Robert put together a band of back up musicians and toured as Led 
Zeppelin!!!
