Oh good grief...Jimmy has earned the right to do WHATEVER he wants.  I
can't quite get over the disrespect people show to a legendary
musician, and I include fans in this - as a lot of their comments are
also lacking in respect.  ( I know I keep referring to only Jimmy, but
that's because he is my HERO - but I mean JPJ and Robert as well!)
Maybe one of these horses behinds will get a clue at some point and
say he can do whatever the hell he wants because he's Jimmy Page and
watch more carefully what they say out of deference to a hugely
talented career. His life's work towers over the musical landscape, so
if he decides to do Led Zeppelin, he bloody well can. If he wants to
do something totally new, he can.  If he wants to do absolutely
nothing, he can do that too.  He's done as much for music as any
musician has, and these comments are only serving to show a serious
lack in common sense, courtesy, and brain cells of the people who
utter them.
