My knowledge of code is zilch. I could, obviously, help fill in
pages, but I think I'd fail miserably at actually trying to create it.
You are absolutely right, however, that if we can get the right people
in on it, it could be incredible. But it can't just be Zep. I
honestly think there should be a wiki for the entire bootleg industry.
I know it'll be quite the undertaking, but Wikipedia is billions of
times more general, and that worked out.
So I'd need to branch out. For Zep alone I'd definitely need Jason
Peterson, Steves, Bob, and also Dave Lewis... especially Dave Lewis.
But now I have to figure out where else to go. This is definitely a
project that would need to be advertised to get as many knowledgeable
people on the subject working on it as possible
So I'd like to officially call on FBO (I will also call on Planet
Zeppelin, and I will reach out to Royal Orleans, and more general
sites like Lossless Bootlegs 101, Guitars 101, DimeADozen, Trader's
Den, etc) to help get this project off the ground. A bootleg world
wikipedia... a Bootipedia... is a must, IMO, for everyone in the music
world.
Let's get it started, shall we?
