Re: SZC for gear heads

Hey John,

Thanks for those links. As a long time vintage gear aficionado who owns the historic Murphy Les Pauls, met and hung out with Jim Survis, helpd set up one of Joe Perry's live amp rigs, worked with Steve Albini (Walking into Clarksdale), and knows half the folks listed in the tonequest report editorial listing, Cheers to you mate! Paul Hammond

P.S. They both told me volumes about our buddy JP!

I am a big gear head and love reading about new guitars, amps, etc... and the rigs musicians use and I am a subscriber to a great gear news letter Tonequest Report...

Here is a link to an issue with an interview with Jimmy Pages and Joe Perry's guitar tech Jim Sturvis...Not a lot of Jimmy content but still interesting......

and if you are a Gibson worshipper, like me, here is a great issue on the Custom Shop

Tonequest is highly recommended if you love guitar gear, guitars, amps pedals etc.. as they interview the makers, do reviews and do a lot of artist interviews...subscriptions make a great Christmas gift!!
