I ordered through Amazon and received a box (not a bubble mailer).
However, the result was essentially the same; with the tight, thick
shrink-wrapping of plastic around the box and piece of cardboard,
there was still some slight crushing of the corners.

Apparently they don't believe people ordering "Collector's Editions"
are collectors who care whether their collectibles are mangled...
