You're right. I forgot about Achilles. P/P did a
strong version during their '95 tour opener. So much
so in fact that they were rumored to have dropped it
because it sounded too much like Zeppelin. With the
correct Jones to deliver that killer bass line and a
Bonham on drums, ALS could be just incredible at the
O2. The range of guitar effects possibilities in 2007
would give Page a lot of room for building up a nice
guitar army. Maybe JPJ could lend him the laptop he
used to build up his triple-neck instrumental from the
Zooma tour.
The thought just occurred to me, given the number of
tunes they could do, fans are hoping they'll do, etc.,
what about a new Whole Lotta Love medley full of
Zeppelin songs instead of traditionals. P/P did a bit
of Dazed and Down By the Seaside during WLL, then
Carouselambra during the slow bridge of In the
Evening, so perhaps more of this could satisfy some
song wants.
