are the mini-LP CD's from Japan or UK re-mastered?

I have the latest (2006) round of Japanese mini Lp sleeves and they soundincredible, remastered? My only complaint is that there are no liner notes,no booklet what so ever for that matter. Just the Japanese news print foldout and obi strip.
