Fwd: The ultimate test

all i've derived from these motherload of mothership remaster issue
(especially from good things mentioned by steve t. about ITE which it
really takes a pair of sharp, focusable ear to hear what jimmy is
doing) that it would be nice if all catalog were remastered by this
method. here are my opinions:

1- don't touch anything, just increase the frequency spectrum
2- decrease overall level a little and if that doesn't clear a little
mud from low side eq lows a little down. simply make jones clearer
3- more bass and dolby out tape hiss please. don't touch bonham's bass
drum pedal squeaks, it's a part of the original music
4- a little more treble but careful, not on WTLB
HOTH- we just want to hear if there is some bass played on this album
and if bass drum was not made of cardboard
PG- just remaster enough for the difference to be felt, copy CP & THE
rover at the end of the second disk also. i want to hear them again to
remember how good they are, 2 discs take too much time and i forget...
PRESENCE- have the band and make them record more for this album. it
should have been a triple. make them finish what they started
ITTOD- make it cleaner overall with some boost, let's hear the bass
and bring jimmy out where he hides as it's done on mothership
