Re: The ultimate test

Steve - not sure if you've seen the comparison up at Royal-Orleans...
I think it's a comparison between Mothership and the 1990 set (for
Stairway and Since I've Been Loving You) posted by jameskg

Here it is: http://tinyurl.com/26v459

Could you give us your take on that? Is it a false test/comparison?
I'm curious about your interpretation; there seems to be just as much
of a debate on R-O (as on FBO) about whether or not the Mothership
mastering is actually 'good,' at least by today's standards.

I had preordered my set a while ago, but since I thought it was
something I pretty much already had, I figured that I would save on
shipping by having Mothership shipped at the same time as my TSRTS
remastered DVD and CD sets. I only realized that yesterday when I
checked the status of my Amazon order and was a little disappointed I
wouldn't be able to join in discussion of first listens this week!

Thanks,

Wyatt
