Re: "zoso" painting

I somewhat remembered this from Days of Bron but as I was poking through old DG & FBO archives I wasn't sure what to search on.

MAN there's so much info that's been passed thru the list over the years!!!

Anyhow, that's a pretty creepy in a cool kinda way picture. Good one to print out and do an "I Spy" on. Wether that can be translated or permutated into Jimmy's symbol might be a stretch IMO, it certainly adds mystery to the great grey wizard now dosen't it ?

Maybe Duncan can include a link to this in his fine 'Zoso' diseected web page?

well, i still think that the painting i remember was somewhat different. that, or i just totally edited it in my imagination to what i _thought_ it should look like. ; ) but Teleri sent me a pic of Morgan le Fay by Anthony Frederick Sandys---not part of the Brotherhood of pre-Raphaelites, but painted in the same style, was buds with many of them, etc. (not that many of you care, i'm sure) soooooooo.........if you look at the bottom of the lady's yellow overskirt, you'll see some interesting symbols. dunno if Pagey's ever even seen the paintng, but it's possible, since IIRC, he is something of an admirer of the pre-Raphaelites. anyway, it makes for some fun and interesting speculation. if you can do the high-res version of the top painting, it is well worth it! (gotta scroll down past he biographical stuff to get to the thumbnails.)

and thank you, Teleri for the Sandys, and Jim for the pre-Raphaelites website!
