Sadly, I just posted the news to www.LedZeppelinNews.com, recalling
Jimmy's broken finger in 1975 and how he has probably decided against
doing what he said back then.
Page told Lisa Robinson that he was trying to master this alternate
technique "so that whenever there's another accident, which I'm bound
to have at the beginning of an important tour, I'll be ready for it."
He must have been joking at the time, but then again, maybe not.
Didn't he mess up his finger even worse by playing the tour as
scheduled instead of postponing it, even if they dropped D&C from the
set? If so, this is a wise move making the postponement. Thank
goodness it's only one show to reschedule and not a whole freaking
TOUR's worth!
