Von,
eil.com has some of the most outrageous prices going for LPs. You can find
decent copies of ITTOD all over the place for low prices. I'd highly
recommend the Classic Records 200g reissue. It comes with the original
artwork as well as a booklet containing all the six versions of the cover
(for those who do not know, ITTOD came in a brown paper bag but the record
cover inside of it could be one of six versions, all photographs taken from
the viewpoint of people you see in the other versions. Plus the original
inner sleeve would turn different colors if it came into contact with
water. I haven't tested the Classic for this).
The sound on the Classic is right up there with their work and is similar
to PG.

In Through The Out Door
Original 1979 US Swan Song label 7-track vinyl LP, picture sleeve
complete with the printed outer brown paper bag - still factory sealed
from new and therefore MINT and unplayed! SS16002
£ 75.00 / US$ 147.75
<the above taken from the eil.com newsletter>
I know those of you who sub to eil.com have gotten this, but seriously,
I bought this exact same album, and I bought mine as a MINT Factory
sealed copy around 1996 or so, and paid a whopping $20 US Dollars for it.
(for all I knew, that was overpriced too)
And they claim it's VERY HARD TO FIND...that's not been my experience,
however It's not like I've been looking for another sealed copy, but US
$147.75...ouch.
I know they are usually overpriced anyway, but this one is just damn
ridiculous.
Unless there's something extra special about this one, that I'm not
quite understanding??
Mine has the same numbers on it, still sealed etc..I just don't get it..
