Re: Led Zeppelin at TODAY's prices

What would the asking price be?

I'm thinking maybe $200 just for the semi-semi-decent seats (the ones
you need a pair of binoculars for).

How much was a Page/Plant ticket in '98 (I did go to the Madison
Square Garden show in July, but I was 10, so I don't remember how much
it cost)? That should give us an idea...

I went down here in May 26th of '98, but I got my ticket at the
venue, and my head was getting a little Vodka soaked at the time, so
now I don't remember exactly how much I paid: probably $40 or $50.
Anyway like I said before though, I'm not talking about how much
Page/Plant could/can/did charge. I'm talking full on Led Zeppelin in
their prime. Surely more than the Stones can charge, not that they
would, but they could.

Prices are ridiculous. I don't care what anyone says. Today's ticket
prices are way too high.

Actually that was sort of my point all along. Look at how
inflated some of the top touring artist's ticket prices are. Much
higher than just taking into account the cost of inflation/devalue of
the American dollar. Supply and demand I guess though, huh?

Exactly. I mean how much were they even charging back in the day?
