Did it have to do with the quote and "what never should have been"?
I already deleted the email so I don't have the exact wording and am
just making a guess from memory - but did you accidentally imply that
Zep should never have been?

Nech, seriously, come on! You think some shrink's gonna tell Plant to
channel his anger into a studio with Page? I daresay Plant's output over
the
last few years has been a full expression of that anger and, as you
note,
cynicism. I won't say the results haven't been good-- Plant's done some
great stuff in the 21st century.
And I thought he was paying his respects to Ahmet (in typical Plant
fashion) by saying that there wouldn't be a new "Honeydrippers" album.
But
in typical Plant fashion, he suggested (and I'm paraphrasing from a
"Billboard story from some days ago) that he only wanted to do it in the
first place so he could get Ahmet's take on the classic tracks the
'Drippers
would be doing. Now that Ahmet's gone, well, not worth his while, I
guess.
Look, I don't wanna get into some Page vs. Plant thing here on FBO.
That's
not my point. I love Robert. His actions and his words, however, are out
there for public discussion.
