Thanks, Nech. Jesus, dig Jimbo in the cape! Far out, as the hippies used to
say. I think Plant nicked it and wore it in his "fantasy sequence" in Song
Remains. Oh come on, we all know what Percy REALLY fantasized about on-stage
was wrestling Paul Rodgers in a bathtub full of baked beans. Still, it's
almost shocking to me, at this stage, to see Page looking like I've never
seen him before. How many billions of images of the band have I seen in the
last 30-plus years? Yet I've never seen a photo of him in a cape! Weird.
Maybe it was a one-off? And (not saying Jimmy didn't pull it off, because
shit, he's the MAN), but it does lean a bit in the Spinal-Tap-parody
direction. 

And yeah, same old same old from Robert about not talking to Jimmy these
days. "It was what it was when it was--" classic Plant dismissal. Reading
between the lines, I get the feeling he's saying that if it wasn't for
Zeppelin and the historical triumphs of the past which necessarily bring
them together now, from time to time, they'd have nothing to say to one
another now, and that if they met each other today as strangers, they
wouldn't hit it off. That's kind of harsh, actually. There's tension and
anger there on Plant's part. May not be directed specifically at Page, mind
you, but I sense it nevertheless.
