Jeff,
If you read my initial post carefully you would have seen this
Questioning the 3/2/75 date *in general* as I see in some publications it's listed as a date, and some not...
The location itself apparently is also an area of high dispute.
According to the tour itinerary on Led-Zeppelin.com it says that it's
U of T , Texas Bent Harbor.
According to mapquest, google and other searches, no such place exists
in Texas. It Does in Michigan.
According to Robertplanthomepage.com it's
1975-Zeppelin concert in Bent Harbor, Tennessee
According to Led-Zeppelin.org it's
1975.03.02 Bent Harbor, Tennessee - University of Tennessee
According to Luis Rey's LZ Live it's
Bent Harbor, Tennessee
According to Dave Lewis' Celebration and Lewis and Pallett's The Concert
File it never happened.
According to Alex Reisner's very well researched site it's
02/03/1975 Bent Harbor, Tennessee
According to http://www.iem.ac.ru/zeppelin/docs/tours.zep.html it's
02/03/1975 Bent Harbor, Tennessee
According to http://ledzeppelinarchive.com/ it's
1975.03.02 University of Tennessee, Bent Harbour, TN
According to Google and mapquest there's no such place as Bent Harbor TN.
University of Tennessee does indeed have its main campus and
headquarters in Knoxville but also has campuses in Martin, Memphis and
Chattanooga. Oh, and from 1970 till 1979 it also had a primary campus in
Nashville.
Now taken into consideration tht we have confirmed dates on Feb 28 in
Baton Rouge, Louisiana and March 4/5 In Dallas. an undocumented 3/3
Fort Worth date and 3/1 New Orleans date....as to wether that U of T was
U of Texas or U of Tennesee is a tough call. Geographically speaking any
of the U of Tenesse campuses are a wee bit more out of the way as
opposed to one of the many U of Texas Campuses..so it's a crap shoot.
Memphis is closest, but Chattanooga does actually have a harbor(s)
according to the US geologicval survey ( but I digress ) Where any of
them at some point, say in 1975 called Bent Harbor ? I call your WTH
question to answer my question with another bold typed WT f'in H?
indeed. Where is this Bent Harbor ??? Perhaps that is where we can at
last find that confounded bridge.
Getting bent,
Nech
