My Lord Harry,Thanks for reminding me....30 years!!!!! In some ways a blur, in some ways like it happened yesterday. If I haven't kicked the bucket yet, you can be rest assured my BOTM in June is gonna be on MSG 1977!! 1977 was huge. You can never go back...and my t-shirts...sorry I wouldn't let my kids wear them. To date sealed in a big zip lock folded over cardboard to preserve what little was left of the original silk screening as I wore them to death back in the day. I did take them out not too long ago and just got all misty eyed thinking first of all, I once fit into those and just what a young punk I was when I went to see Zep. And it reminded me of just how long I have been a Zeppelin fan. People think I'm nuts when I call Zeppelin the soundtrack to my life... but coming from those years, literally every defining moment had in some way, music tied into it. It was a great age...I just don't think today's youth have any idea of what the 70's were really like or experience music and life quite the way we did back then. The same way, even though I listen to the music and can watch the films and read books, I can never really know what it was like to be around in the 60's.
I'm gonna go listen to Louisville again...sigh.... Nech zennjazz8081@xxxxxxxxx wrote:
