Re: Reunion Rumor **NON-VERIFIED**

Probably residual "fall-out" from the old Sun web article and/or the bogus JPJ talked to Q107 rumor. The rumor that Led Zeppelin would be touring this summer seems to have spread like wildfire in the classic rock community. People want to believe it no matter how many denials they hear.

As I wrote the other day, many of us logically state we feel a reunion for a "greatest hits" stadium tour would be a bad idea, but damnit, just the very notion of "Zeppelin on tour" is like opium. For those of us who listen to bootlegs on a regular basis, a small part of us (perhaps illogical) bristles with excitement at the notion that this powerhouse band we listen to regularly might be available to see live onstage soon. They won't be. They can't be. The heart, the core, the very engine is missing and always will be. The come-down to reality is bitter indeed.

I guess its best to be perfectly clear when speaking on that topic.

I got into a discussion yesterday with a friend of mine whose opinon I
respect on this subject. We had been trading emails off and on discussing
the Police re-forming.

He told me that he read an article in the WSJ about how new entites would
pursue the Statium gate this summer as that particular market is currently
avaiable. The acts he mentioned from the Journal story were the Police, and
Led Zeppelin. It's not like they would have a hard time finding venues.
Venues would buy out of contracts to bring these guys in.

Now...... can anyone find any legs to this? I found nothing on the WSJ
site - but I am not a subscriber.
