Hi all
Some time ago I restored the zeppelin albums according to a suggestion of
Mike S. Putting e.g Down by the seaside from on LZ IV because it was
recorded in that era etc. This came out:
Led Zeppelin IV - Black Dog, Rock And Roll, Battle Of Evermore, Stairway
To Heaven, Misty Mountain Hop, Going To California, Night Flight, Four
Sticks, Boogie With Stu, Down By The Seaside, When The Levee Breaks.
Houses Of The Holy - The Song Remains The Same, The Rain Song, Over The
Hills and Far Away, Houses Of The Holy, The Rover, The Crunge, Black Country
Woman,
Dancin' Days, D'yer Maker, Walter's Walk, No Quarter, The Ocean
Physical Grafitti - Custard Pie, Sick Again, Ten Years Gone, Trampled
Underfoot, Kashmir, In The Light, The Rover, Swan Song, The Wanton Song,
In My Time Of Dying.
I must say that I enjoy listening to HOTH and PG much more in this order. To
me, PG is much more 'defined' this way. I alway's thought that the variety
on PG was both it's strengh as it's weakness. As far as HOTH is concerned,
to my taste there are much better songs on this album now. What do you
think?
Cheers T.
