I love it when people get back to me... From Q107's ass't program directorHi Nestor, Sorry, but I haven't heard any of our announcers chatting about this. My understanding is that this is an internet rumour, which is spreading like wild fire, but has no truth to it, which is why it's not referenced on our site.
Is there any Badgies out there that are suprised to hear this?I'm sure there are a few who, myself included, thought it might be interesting and got -hopes- up, but pretty much expected nothing.
And if there is anyone that got their hopes high and is now dissappointed, well, I'll just let that speak for itself :)
I think the possibility of work for TSRTS is probably much more likely, it's the only recording from their lifetime that hasn't been remastered.
I'm also sure that over time there are many wounds that have healed. Does this mean we should ever expect a Zep reunion? No. Could it happen?" Definately, which is why you can't hold your breath. From one extreme to the other- there's the Eagles and Cream, both were akso subjects of rumors at various time and eventually one of the rumors was more than that. On the other hand, there's the Beatles....once Lennon was gone the band was no more. Once Bonham was gone Zeppelin was no more.
Once Michael Hunchins (sp?) died there was no INXS...... until they got a new singer. years later. There is a certain small amount of people I would beleive when I heard this and NOT just speculate. Ross Halfin for example, Dave Lewis, an official press release from Trinifold posted on their website, as well as something about it on the official Zeppelin sites or the web sites of P,P & J......
I kinda feel bad for the radio station. They are probably facing many inquiries about this!
Actually on second thought I don't.....their sister station is the flagship station for the Maple Leafs.... :)
