First of all, let me say I'm always impressed with people's breadth of
contacts in the music world and elsewhere, who can corroborate these things
for us here on FBO (even if it's only corroborating the fact that yes,
rumors are running rife...).

Second, hate to burst the dirigible, but I'll lay a few simoleons (sp?) on
this: Glasto's Evis is probably talking about The Police. Early to mid-80s,
they were definitely thought of as the biggest band in the world. Their
stadium reunion tour this summer is all but confirmed, and will be the
highest-grossing concert event of the year. (Unless Stewart and Andy
realize, backstage at the Grammys for the first gig, that the dimensions of
Sting's ego in fact now rival that of a small nation-state, and thus further
collaborations are impossible.)

Third, a theory on why JPJ is back in the (Trini)fold and/or has buried the
hatchet with Percy: he wants in on that country project with Alison Krauss
and T-Bone Burnett, maybe as a mandolinist.

As someone mentioned, Strange Sensation have dates booked in the summer, so
if there were to be a Zep reunion, it would almost have to be a one-off.
Would the three of them really put in the rehearsal time with Jason and
everything, if it was only for one show?

Then again, if we go by one of the most reliable indicators, maybe, just
maybe, this is going to happen. That indicator being, of course, the length
and color of Plant's hair of late. :-P
