RE: Rumors heating up or out of hand?

This is getting a little weird - I was at a bar over the weekend and a band
was setting up, and the guitarist was tuning up with OTHAFA. I was sitting
right next to the makeshift sound booth and leaned over to ask the soundman
if they played a lot of Zeppelin - he responded "Some," and then mentioned
that he had heard that Zeppelin was planning to tour this summer - we both
agreed that we'd heard all this before and that we'd believe it when we saw
it.

He didn't mention where he'd heard it, and I blew it off until logging on
today and reading all this..... weird.

Hmmmm, this is surely getting interesting.

I've been holding off on making any sort of comment on this, but earlier
this week, I got an email from my dear friend, Paul Leftwich, in London,
also alluding to said reunion....
<snip>

P.S. Did you see that Zeppelin are reforming to do a Stadium tour of
the
States ?. (Again....) It was in one of our national newspapers earlier
this
week, and it said that the three boys had had long meetings together
with
their management, and had buried the hachet, and were organising a tour
with
Jason on drums. I personally, up until this morning, thought this would
be
an excellent time to start all the "I'll eat my hat" statements, you
know,
"When Hell freezes Over", and suchlike, but this morning, the tickets
went
on sale for Glastonbury and the organiser, Michael Evis says he has
signed
"The Biggest Band in the World" to headline, he wouldn't say who it
was, but
the went on to rule out U2, The Stones, Radiohead or the Chilli
Peppers. He
has already announced The Who in the line-up, so it deosn't leave
anyone
else.......... ? Watch this space......

<end snip>

The plot thickens...

Keep groovin'
