I've never heard that they were actually recorded. The only account of the sessions I've ever really heard is the 1988 interview Plant did with Rolling Stone. He said they were coming up with some interesting stuff that reminded him of Hüsker Dü (80's Alt Rock band) and commented on Jonesy's "rollicking keyboards" and Plant's growing impatient with Jimmy's having to change the battery in his wah-wah pedal far too often. When Thompson got in a car crash, Plant used it as an excuse to withdraw from the reunion and concentrate on his solo career.

Per the last statement, if the sessions were indeed recorded, have they ever
been released in some form or other?
