Don't recall hearing of these leaking out. If anyone would know it'd be 
resident historian Scott....

 Supposedly they did indeed get together in Peter Gabriel's recording 
studio in Bath for said secret session in January of 1986. It was not 
just the car accident, but also Plant's newfound self that kept it from 
happening "unable to handle Jimmy changing the batteries in his wah wah 
pedal every other song, it all became too much for Plant. He left."
