Tony Thompson and Zep

While browsing the net, came across the following in a blog about Tony
Thompson and his death in 2003:

 >Thompson performed with the remaining members of Led Zeppelin 
 >in 1985 at the Live Aid benefit concert in Philadelphia. He 
 >joined the band for secret recording sessions, but a possible 
 >reunion was canceled when Thompson was involved in a 
 >serious car accident. Those recordings were never released.

Per the last statement, if the sessions were indeed recorded, have they ever
been released in some form or other?
