I think we're all looking forward to Peter Makowski's Zep bio. Should be
definitive. In the interest of completeness, though, I've just emailed him
some facts I do hope he includes:
John comes from a circus family (famous in the Midlands for their
death-defying high-wire act "The Quaalude Stagger")... John Paul Jones once
toured with "Greeta" Garbo... Jimmy Page came out of the closet and, oh
yeah: The walrus was Paul.
I also corrected him re: Bron-Yr-Aur being in India. It is, as any Zep fan
should know, near Kiev in the Ukraine. The "golden breasts" of the
succulent, prize-winning fowl they raised thereabouts gave rise to the
classic poultry dish, still popular today, "Chicken Kiev."
Sadly, it was a heapin' helpin' of this (and NOT Mama Cass, as scurrilous
rumour has had it) that was to be Bonzo's final meal.

I put if forward that this Peter is an idiot, and his "definitive bio"
will be nothing special...
I mean, maybe I'm the stupid one, but I thought Bron-Yr-Aur was in WALES.
