I think there are enough trainspotters chiming in to the discussion
thread on Dime! E.g. "blackmikito", who narrows down the probable
date of the interview (just after Christmas 1972) based on Jimmy's
reference to two Friday and Saturday gigs, which could only have been
the Ally Pally shows in London, Dec 22 and 23.

I didn't have time to explain myself yesterday...and probably won't do a
great job now either.
I was running SERIOUSLY late for a meeting and heading out the door, when
someone sent me a text message about this. I ran back in, found it, started
the dl, and posted it to FBO. I had no time to read the comments area, or do
any research on said interview, but the message I received said it may be
phoney.
So I posted it too FBO hoping by the time I returned (about an hour ago)
someone would have verified it as legit or knocked it down etc.. I also
questioned it, because of the line saying it has never appeared before in any
released form.
I figured if this was so "rare" or never heard before etc.. there would
have been talk on FBO about it, and I hadn't seen any.
Now that I'm home, I have had time to read about the Zig Zag magazine
etc..but as said, it's abridged. This is totally different. This is the actual
"interview" on tape...I find this extremely interesting and glad I went ahead
and
downloaded it not knowing if it was legit or not. (although I've not had
time to listen to it yet)

BTW....I apologize for including the entire info section. I didn't realize I
did that.
