It's interesting that Krauss was quoted somewhere recently as saying
Plant wrote something on the album (implying that he wrote something new
**for** the album), but the only thing I see in this list is Please Read
the Letter from WIC! Not one of my favorite tracks on WIC, but I could
see it working as a duet. Someone on the royal-orleans forum pointed out
that Krauss is an incredible singer with perfect pitch so Percy woudn't
haven been able to mumble, whisper, or wheeze his way through this one
or they would have throw him out of the studio! At least it's nice to
see he's now starting to remember what he did from 1994 to 98. Combine
that with his recent rediscovery of Pictures at Eleven and I guess he's
recovering from post-Zeppelin memory loss! ;)
How about the backup band, anyone familiar with them:
"Among the musicians contributing to the project are guitarists Marc
Ribot and Norman Blake, multi-instrumentalist Mike Seeger, drummer Jay
Bellerose and bassist Dennis Crouch."
