Here's one for you. Giles Martin (Sir George's son who did the mixing
for the Beatles' "Love") has gone on record as saying he'd like to sit
down with Page and do something like the Love project with Led Zeppelin.

"Otherwise it would just be 'Giles Martin goes and destroys bands'
projects'. We did this (Beatles album) for a show."
Unless the band is Led Zeppelin, that is. "Led Zeppelin interests me.
I'd love to sit down with (guitarist) Jimmy Page and discuss doing
something like this," he said.

I find this intriguing actually. I know the Beatles purists all have
their knickers in a very tight knot but I think Love is a tremendous
listening experience. I'd really love to see what he'd do with Zeppelin
material. Some of the "straight"/non mash-up remixes on Love are
stunning so it'd be nice to hear what Giles could do with Zeppelin. Page
said that they located all the original multitracks in preparation for
the 2003 DVD material and he's also said sitting down and doing remixing
would be a big job, so hey here's a chance to get it done!
