no, i believe eddie kramer did it - i did a couple of extra songs for
the menus, but page and plant bicker amongst each other, that nothing
got done - so they kept the original surround mixes and i don't know
what!!!!
there was a plan to do it - who knows........
Thanks, Paul, for passing this on......
Hopefully Kramer is doing this and Kevin isn't aware of it.....it's
unfortunate that the reported constant bickering betweenn Page/Plant has
delayed so many things.
While I do think Kramer's work on LZII cannot be topped, when it comes to
the modern digital agre, personally I would prefer to have Kevin Shirley
doing it. He brought so much depth on the DVD to the MSG recordings that
was completely missing from TSRTS......the sound of HTWWW and DVD STILL
blow me away 3.5 years after it was released. And I only have a mediocre
home stereo system.....I would love to see it in a theater again with 5.1
sound....unfortunately, as good as I remember it sounding, I don't think I
could possibly remember it sounding as incredible as it did at the
time..... what I would really like is to see teh entire DVD in a
big-screen theater! I need to make friends qwith a theater manager..... :)
