This is a sticky one as if you're going to fork out the cash to get a
GOOD USB device that would make lossless trasfers, you might as well
invest the money in a good sound card instead.. IMO at least.
But there are USB based interfaces out there that can achive good
results without completely draining your wallet. I've seen some Edirol
Units that can do 24 bit/96Khz audio for like 99 bucks. M-Audio has a
bunch of them as well for about the same price range but not sure if
they can take an rca out of a tape deck.
