I'm always reading more than one book at a time and it takes me forever to
get through 'em, but I recently started Nick Mason's autobio of Pink Floyd,
"Inside Out." Very engaging, aided immensely by his very droll style. In
particular the self-deprecating humor in his descriptions of their emerging
musical talent during their school days, and the earliest pre-Floyd gigs.
I remember really loving the Hendrix bio "'Scuse me While I Kiss The Sky" by
David Henderson, when I read it, must be about 20, 25 years ago.
I picked up a Bob Marley bio, "Catch a Fire", by Timothy White, a while
back. Very well researched and written by the looks of it but I never got
past the first coupla chapters. Should go back to it.
