It's dead easy really- firstly, download a bittorrent client - there are many
to choose from here
http://www.slyck.com/bt.php?page=2 they all have pros and cons and I've used a
few, before settling on the official bittorrent client. Other people prefer
other ones.
Once you've downloaded the client, any torrent files you then download should
open in the client and begin downloading the show. You usually get asked where
you want it to download to. That's about it really. Once fully downloaded,
usually as a series of flac files, treat them as you would any othr flac files.
It's considered good etiquette to leave your client open after a download is
complete for as long as you can as it also uploads the files to other users.
Indeed, some sites expect you to keep a certain ratio of gigabytes downloaded
to uploaded.
A few good sites to get torrents from are

hope this helps a bit. I'm sure there are people on here who understand it
better than me and can give a better explanation.
