I know I don't need to do this, but I don't have anything better
to do anyway. Regarding my comment that Rev. Sam referred to below
(which was in response to another's comment about edible undies):
.............-Edible or not, I would eat those off of her. Even though her feet
-could use a little scrubbing.
- Cosmic
(a post about eating a womans pants off.. not offensive at all)..........
I was just making somewhat of a tongue in cheek
comment................or tongue in *something* anyway. heh, heh ;-)
Seriously though, sorry if it offended anyone other than Rev. Sam
(Zeppelinite). Also, I didn't figure I was alone in finding his post
about Ahmet to be rather brash and cold. He brought up the subject of
grandmothers, and whether it's just being honest or not, I'm sure he
wouldn't appreciate someone referring to *his* grandmother the way he
referred to Ahmet.
Also, about wishing someone well whom one doesn't even know
"personally"..........that's just shite.........I don't know Jimmy
personally, but does that mean when he falls ill that I shouldn't wish
him well, or in the future when he dies, not mourn his death? Just
because one doesn't have a personal and intimate knowledge of someone,
doesn't mean one can't appreciate a person for what they've done in
life. Just as I was saddened when Jack Palance (Have Gun Will Travel,
Ripley's Believe it or Not) died recently. He had touched my life as
do many people whom I'm never met.
As far as keeping the posts here on the list on topic (all
business) and not personal in any way, well I don't see how anyone can
read posts from people on a near daily basis (getting to know them
along the way), and never feel anything personal about any of it.
Sometimes it's easy to forget that this is a "Led Zeppelin"
information only list, posting something off topic along the way. The
music of LED ZEPPELIN is, in and of itself, "personal" to me, and I
think our community *is* a personal one. Not a business, but a
passion.
