I've been wondering this a lot over the past couple of
years. This first thing that turned my suspicions on
to this was a few years ago when this site never
seemed to review products that came from the Electric
Magic/Celebration labels. You might remember thos
labels as releasing a lot of product with that
metallic sounding distortion added to many of the
recordings. My take on the Electric Magic label would
be simple and that would be to describe the EM labels
products as being inferior because of the sound
processing used and if the guys put out this product
got their act together, they would have learned from
their mistakes.
Most recently, Beezlebub has put out the May 26, 1977
SBD and claimed they have a more complete copy of the
soundboard tape as No Quarter and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp are
complete. It appears as though Bron-Y-Aur Stomp is
made complete by adding in samples of LZ III and
HTWWW.
Here's what's amusing to me, so far three people have
submitted reviews about this release and none of the
three reviews seem to address this issue.I get the
impression that the three people submitting the
reviews did not even listen to the CD in it's entirity
if they missed this dubious claim regarding Bron-Y-Aur
Stomp.
Take Care
Grant
