You're right Nic.  It was only to audition the mix.
The mix must have been done else where. My old company do a lot of work for Warner DVD and hence Jimmy auditioned the mix there. 

And yes the tech didn;t know the songs hence my friend having to step in.

I'm sure somebody will correct if I'm wrong...but didn't Eddie say that
the facility was the only one setup for 5.1 reviewing? Not necessarily
where the actual mixing was being done?
