Tool is JPJ-approved!

Glad someone else likes Tool also..JPJ does! There ARE
some similarities to Zep. They are kind of Media-shy,
yet their last couple albums debuted at #1 (didnt stay
there long, but still)they sell out most concerts,
there is plenty of light-and-shade stuff going on,
they dont put out new albums very often (every 4 years
or so), they're all OUTSTANDING musicians, and yes,
there are plenty of arcane, possibly occult references
thoughout their music..Zep may still be my fav, but of
all these bands currently still together and making
new music, they are by far my favorite...partly
because the guitar player uses a Les Paul through
Marshalls (cant beat it), and when they get
LOUD...whoa....the Guitar Tone That Destroyed The
World...lol 
 My son is a new bass player, and he loves  Tool
also..took him to see them a few weeks ago, and we
were lucky enough to be seated 5 rows directly to the
right of the stage, on the bass player's side- kept
nudging each other and pointing as the bass player or
guitar player would play different things we'd
wondered about and would try to jam on
together...learned a few things, which was cool! They
LOVE playing in 6/8, do some 5/8s, oddball
polyrhythyms, and sometimes syncopate the HELL out of
4/4 'listen to 'The Pot'...at any rate, if you like
Zep, Tool isnt such a stretch..if you can handle
intensity :-) LOVE it!!!!
 By the way- we once looked up the phrase 'black dog'
in a dictionary, and the definition was something
like: 'a form of raw blues'.....anyone ever hear
this???
 Anyway, check out Tool- they're definitely
warning-label stuff, but I love em...."I need to watch
things DIE...from a good safe distance...." LOLOLOL

 Gee after all this typing, hope THIS one doesnt
