Yeah, J.R., I'm with Nech. You can never have too many "Stairways."  I
totally love this kind of obsessional compilation. Some really groovy takes
on the ol' chestnut here, and I'm kinda sure I'm going to listen to each and
every one. Alas. Geez, Heart's version is so damn heartfelt! Gotta love
those gals.

Well I for one would like to see that list!

And some of those "versions" were really nothing more that someone anyone
trying to plink out the melody. Some were outright great! The Gilligan's
Island one took me way back!!1 Sheeet I remember hearing that one on the
radio ages ago! Gave me goosebumps! ; )

There's a forum with many posts further down the page, where people chime in
with other notable versions.

The Frank Zappa version with horn section was cruelly absent from the
original list, for example.
