Nech's comments about the current situation with Page, Jones and Plant got
me wondering again about the relationship between Jimmy and Robert. It's
been well-documented for decades that the tensions between Townshend and
Daltrey, and between Jagger and Richards, have been enormous. And yet they
all manage to work together on stage even now. Page and Plant seemed to have
a genuine bond, and a friendship, that went well beyond what was going on
with the Who and the Stones. Is it BECAUSE of this initial closeness that
they now find it so difficult to locate common ground? I guess so.  

Too bad, in my book.
