Geez, Nech, I have to hand it to you-- you've managed to avoid the mindless
time-waster that IS television in the last several months, if you've never
actually seen that ubiquitous, insanely annoying Geico ad Jeremy references
in his signature. (And here I'm tempted to make some quip about you "living
in a cave," which would be a reference to yet another series of Geico ads--
but I guess that'd go over your head as well.)
I'll bet not a single obscure Plantation has ever got by you, though.
I'll have the roast duck, with the mango salsa?

Nech inquired about my signature file, and I'm sure some might also wonder
about this question
There's a series of geico ads in which normal non- elebrities tell rather
boring tales about how Geico's customer servvice is so good. To help make
the stories more interesting, they hire a celebrity to help tell the story
in some sort of goofy way
One commercial features Little Richard, another one features the man who
played ":Mini-Me" in the Austin Powers movies. There is another commercial
in which they hire "The voice guy from the movies"
I forget his name, but he does a LOT of movie trailers and is one of the
best known voices in the world for that.
In this particular commercial, a lady is sitting in her kitchen telling
about a very wet night where both her and her husbands cars were totally
underwater. Suddenly the movie trailer music starts and he repeats it as
if it is a movie trailer. the music stopes, she says another part, then
the music continues and he interperates whast she said. It ends up being
something like this:
"In a world where both of our cars were totally underwater..(she goes
into more details)..But a new wind was about to blow. Payback THIS time is
for real"
It's really cheezy but probably one of my favorites.
In a world where both of our cars were totally under water,
