Whiskey trades...

I am getting many direct requests for B&P's or trades for the Whiskey show, but right now I have to say I am just too busy with the Holidays and all to complete them. So instead of blowing anyone off, I am asking that you send your requests to the whole list to see if someone else can help you out. I know there have litterally been thousands of copies of this downloaded so I'm more than positive some of those were FBO folks....

With all of this interest, this is definately grounds for a good old fashioned tree for those who can stand the wait. I was hoping someone would step up with the silvers and DVD-a to do it from, but one from flac would be just as well.

With all those download, I would also hope that someone other than me has listened to it and would care to comment on it. I did mine on the fly so missed alot of it as I typed as I listened, but man, even with some Page stickiness and Plant lyric flubs and miscues , I am just blown away by this historic release. I mean, you are essentially hearing the band evolve right before you. And right from the start you hear what a powerhouse Bonzo was and was gonna be. And I am also blown away by the friggin stellar ( IMO ) audio quality of this nearly 38 year old tape.

And some more questions have filled my head since. on UU, the review mentions that the EV art has a picture of a reel to reel as the source of this......so, for all those who think that the cut in For Your Love was a tape flip.... dang, I didn't know you flipped reel to reels !? With there being such a quiet audience, it could also have been quite easy for EV to cut out a tune without it being glaringly obvious. I foresee a future release of this. . . Just pure speculation on my part, but you've seen it all before.

Also couldn't help but notice how a chest thumping war broke out over this on one of the torrent sites...oh, it was out first on a super duper exclusive site first.... oh mercy, how about giving EV it's just due. They were the ones that somehow pried this outta someone's hands. Or was it that it was 'out there' and someone just couldn't resist the lore of the mighty greenback any more? 37 years in a black hole....man....I just can't believe it. And if someone had the foresight all those years ago to tape this show, which to me sounds like I originally speculated, was done by an in house system, I wonder if we will ever see Jan 2,3,4 pop up. You just never know.

I'll be one happy pig in sh*t when Carnegie finally makes the rounds.
