Larry, you haven't seen the pictures. The box did not accidently
open. It was physically ripped open. That was done, in fact, most
likely with a box cutter of some sort, but was a very sloppy job.
From the looks of it, the person started cutting open the end of the
box, heard someone coming or was for some reason pressed for time, an
dripped open the rest of it. It isn't even the whole flap that was
opened. Just enough to get the discs out.
I will leave it to Von's discretion if she wants to show one or all of
the pictures to either you privately or to the list. But it was no
accident. The box was physically ripped into and the contents were
stolen. I'm not sure what kind of accident could pruduce that kind of
rip, unless it involved a knife-cutter and a pair of hands.

Sorry about the loss of your package, but I think you are both over
reacting. It is possible that the box open up and the disc fell out on one
of the trucks. With the volume of packages on a truck, by the time they
found the DVD the truck might have been unloaded making it unfeasible to
find the breached package.
Take a step back and think do you really think a postal employee will risk
their job and benefits and retirement for a few blank DVD's. I can get blank
Fuji's 25 pack on sale as low as $5. If they are going to steal something I
think an Ipod or some other high end equipment is higher on their list to go
after.
I have made over a thousand trades through the mail and have never had
anything stolen by the P.O., I have had been ripped off by other traders
though.
It sucks for the DVD not to arrive but to say that the P.O. employee is
stealing blanks is a over reaction.
